Palladium on Alumina is a heterogeneous palladium hydrogenation catalyst available in varying loading percentages ranging from 0.5-10 wt %, which is prepared by supporting metal palladium powder on activated aluminium, mainly used in the hydrogenation of aromatic aldehydes,  its derivatives, nitroaromatic and aliphatic compounds
